October 2009
My Co-op Mascot
October is National Cooperative Month. Co-op mascots light up the page, and stand tall as they celebrate the cooperative movement. Several Youth Artists added a safety and energy efficiency message to their masterpieces. Keep up the good work! (Multiple drawings from the same family were published due to the limited amount of entries received.)
Let’s Talk Turkey for November. Grace the November youth art page with colorful turkeys and autumn leaves, but there’s a twist in this. Draw a turkey driving a vehicle, playing hopscotch, reading a book, or hanging out with friends. Have a fabulous time and use your imagination.
What’s in your Winter Wonderland this holiday season? For December’s topic draw how you would decorate your wonderland scene outside. Are there falling snowflakes, twinkling lights, or candelabras? Are there decorated snowmen or reindeer? How about decorated wagons and cacti. Have a sparkling adventure.
Remember: Include your name, age, address and the co-op your family is a
member of.
